Refund and Returns Policy

At Charlo Farm Ltd., we take pride in producing high-quality dehydrated seasonings and agricultural products. Because our products are food items, we handle returns and refunds carefully to protect product safety and quality.

1. Food Products

Due to the nature of food products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on items once they have been delivered, except in the following cases:

  • the wrong item was sent
  • the item arrived damaged
  • the item arrived defective
  • the item is missing from your order

2. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • your full name
  • order number
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photos of the item and packaging

Once reviewed, we may offer one of the following:

  • a replacement
  • a partial refund
  • a full refund

Refunds and replacements are issued at our discretion once the issue has been verified.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrived damaged or incorrect:

  • opened food products
  • used products
  • products with tampered packaging
  • products damaged due to improper storage after delivery
  • products purchased on clearance or marked final sale

4. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet been processed or shipped.

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

5. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the return or refund is due to our error, including:

  • sending the wrong item
  • sending a defective product
  • shipping damage caused before delivery is completed

7. Return Authorization

We do not accept returns sent back without prior approval.

If a return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send the item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

9. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

9.1. Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again

There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

9.2. Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

10. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
